I can corroborate that. Gareth forged Raoul, badly, using Zippo's (now Newsguy) then-open news server. I also have evidence that at that time someone forged Gareth in a.l.s via the same open server. I won't point any fingers, though - fair is fair. :)

You're one of the "grand poombah's" of Meow. We were making sure we weren't becoming a subdivision of same. You really can't blame us...

Well, it wasn't exactly *shortly* - but it did finally happen. The rough time that some of us gave you convinced not only us, but the rest as well, that you were a worthy addition to the group.

We may have different reasons for leaving the cuddlers in peace but we did eventually agree on the basic point. And you have followed our local rules as well as any of the rest of us have - perhaps better than we regulars...

You have indeed. When you and Azzy both showed up in a.l.s I expected the worst and reacted accordingly. Surprisingly, for me at least, we *didn't* get invaded by the Meowers - instead you and Azzy and a few others became our friends. It was a totally unexpected, but pleasant, surprise.
Anyone from HFW, or even the great unwashed, who wishes to participate in the group - under the same terms (abide by our rules in a.l.s but do most whatever you want elsewhere) - is welcome to do so. Have we not tried to prove that point again and again?
