FWIW, the meowers likely had been lurking reading AHWW before the
troubles, and were attacking DIRECTLY because I had reported an attempted
invasion on ANOTHER, UNRELATED newsgroup.

The meowers are *KNOWN* for revenge attacks, up to and INCLUDING
mailbombing attempts, attempts to destroy newsgroups that people who fight
against their net.abuse frequent, revenge spams, rmgroup attempts, and a
minor shitload of other net.abuse beyond that.  

FWIW, they attacked a group that a friend of mine frequents for the EXACT
SAME reason--namely, she spoke out on the net.abuse groups against their
denial of service attacks on Usenet newsgroups.  They also forged several
nasty revenge spams directed against her, as retribution for inviting
folks to let a spammer know just what most of Usenet thought about spam.

Considering I've spent no less than THREE years reporting on abuse by
so-called alt.syntax.tactical clone groups, I'd not be suprised if they
actually tried to find every group I posted to on a regular basis.  That
is what they tend to do; it is a form of harassment, plain and simple.

I, for one, will NOT be cowed or frightened into silence and let
motherfuckers like this destroy the Usenet for everyone else.

And I suggest *YOU* do some reading, some research, and kindly keep your
fucking piehole shut until and unless you know just WHAT the hell the
history is and how the fuck harass-spammers tend to operate.  QED.
