For those of you who love all things natural, I'd like to share: I have always enjoyed designing and enjoying fragrant gardens. Now I make natural perfume. As a natural perfumer, I host a group on Yahoo with over 600 members Yahoo Natural Perfumery group A commercial website has grown out of that group, where natural perfume is the theme, both educationally and market-wise. Natural Perfumery is where artisan, botanical perfumes are found. Look for the launch of my own line of natural perfumes in 2006 at Anya's Garden of Natural Perfumes
![]() 1974-1988 She doesn't have her dreadlocks here, but she spread the Irie vibe every minute of her life. In 1975, while I was walking her near the Roxy theater in West L.A., I heard a man's voice laugh and say "They have Rastapoodles in America." Bob Marley and the Wailers were playing there that weekend, and I believe the man who spoke was Bob. Although a fan of the Wailers, I didn't know them by sight, and so I'm not sure. Anyway, she heard the word 'poodle', and started dancing and jumping up and down, and everyone had a good laugh. The name stuck. She was raised with cats, and thought cats were her family and playmates. To keep her name alive, it was the first screename I used when I signed on the Internet in 94. Long live the memory of Rastapoodle.

(In the year 2001, the following is old news, but still great
photography)
FIRST PHOTOS
OF THE "TEVA SPIRIT OF UNITY TOUR"
ON THE INTERNET
(at least I think they are, unless someone informs me otherwise)
These photos are © copyright K Thor Olsen
of Progressive Images,
P.O. Box 50532, LHP, FL. 33074
and may not be copied or reproduced without
his permission
you
can
email Thor via me by clicking here
Thor is one of the premier reggae
photographers,
and his work has appeared in all major music publications.
He is the producer
and photographer/videographer for the Pay-for-View TV shows for
the
Caribbean Musik Festival in the Bahamas,
and the Miami Bob Marley Caribbean
Festival.
This is the first time any of his photos have appeared
on the Net. I hope I have done them justice by cropping and
slightly
lightening them when I scanned them.
These were taken at the West Palm Beach venue
on August 30, 1998.
Enjoy.

I feel really lucky to know two such great photographers who so ably captured the excitment and spirit of the Teva Spirit of Unity Tour.
Thor
Olsen's photos were taken indoors in a grand, plush venue, at night.
Ted Freeman's photos capture two sunlight-infused daytime performances,
by Lucky Dube and Beres, and two nighttime very cool shots, of Shaggy
and
David Hinds.
