When you purchase an Autronic SMC ECU it comes with the SMC ECU, a complete wiring harness, air temperature sensor, water temperature sensor, fuel pump relay, data cable, a floppy disk containing all the sotware, and a comprehensive manual.

What Will You Need For The Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST185) That Does Not Come In The Kit?

You will need to purchase, a reluctor interface, a Bosch Ignition Module (1227 022 008 is the number on the unit itself, and 9 222 067 023 is the number on the box), one connector for the Bosch Ignition Module (1 287 013 005), one Boost Control Valve, and you will also neeed to get your stock distributor modified. The Autronic dealer should be able to get all of these for you. Refer to the "Introduction" section to find the names and contact numbers of the two dealers that I have dealt with, and recommend.

The reluctor interface is a little black box that converts the signals from the stock magnetic sensors in the distributor for "cylinder reference", and "cylinder pulse", into the format that the SMC uses. The distributor will have to be modified so that there are only 4 teeth left on the top gear to trigger the sensor, instead of the stock amount of 24 teeth. Below is diagram of the stock distributor, with the teeth to keep marked in red. The dealer you purchase the Autronic from can always, either source a second hand distributor to modify, or you could send yours to the dealer for modification. If you are going to carry it to a machine shop yourself, make sure you mark the correct teeth to leave on.
