This is the KATUSA (Korean Augmentation to U.S. Army) snackbar at Camp Casey. When I was stationed at Camp Howze, the KATUSA snackbar there was often the only place to get a decent meal. Kimchi, rice, bulgogi and yaki mandu made a nice alternative to cold creamed chipped beef on toast, eaten off of paper plates, while wearing a parka, in an unheated messhall.
The KATUSA snackbar on the DMZ was excellent and I frequently passed up the mess hall in its favor.
